In support of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada calls on all Canadians to speak out against the airing of blatant false information related to the Crisis in Ukraine. Specifically we ask that anyone who cares about journalistic integrity and honest reporting contact the CRTC and voice our concerns with the airing of RT News on Canadian Airwaves.
RT News is the propaganda mouthpiece of the Russian Federation, and has been spreading blatant misinformation about Russia’s proxy war with Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress has prepared a list of evidence of RT News’ lies and misinformation which can be used in support of our efforts.
Filing a complaint with the CRTC is quick and easy, and the UCC has put together a simple list of instructions (on the right) which point you in the right direction.
Please don’t let Mr. Putin with the propaganda war against Ukraine, and help to prevent the spread of hate, lies and misinformation on Canadian airwaves!
